came into existence on 9th july 2001 .

It is established by Rewa Shiksha Samiti ,Sneh Nagar ,Jabalpur. SRIT is headed by renowned Electronics Scientist & Educationalist Dr.S.P.KOSTA (Ph.D. Comm. Engg. ,recipient of Aryabhatt Award ,ex-director of ISRO Banglore and ex Vice chancellor ,University of jabalpur .). Under his dynamic the institute has made rapid and remarkable progress .The institute has well equipped ,state of art laboratories and highly qualified faculty .

  Welcome to the CONVERGENCE ‘09, the Technical fest of Shri Ram Institute Of Technology ,Jabalpur , the rising technical gurukul in Madhya Pradesh.  CONVERGENCE ’ 09  is another milestone put up by the institution in its endeavor to nurture a creative educational culture for students.  CONVERGENCE'09 is a junction where intelligence, innovation and insight are given space to thrive. Taking forth this vision, CONVERGENCE invites participants with an ardor and dedication for excellence in the technical field, and those who triumph in the victory of creativity and resourcefulness.   CONVERGENCE s an initiative to provide an arena to the tech enthusiasts who are ready to confront a challenge and eager to demonstrate their forte.  CONVERGENCE is also to provide an enriching experience to the avid learners.  

 Convergence will not give you a chance to 'stand and stare' with quizzes, documentaries, short lectures, informal workshops planned throughout the day, keeping the festive spirit ticking at Techfest. Like to rack your brain over fancy puzzles? Or make something out of nothing but junk? Then this will certainly be your hub during the festival. And as bonus you could also win grand prizes along with loads of entertainment! Watch this section for details on various ways to have fun at Techfest and grab a few goodies while doing so.We will certainly ensure that you don't have a moment to spare among all the excitement at Techfest!!
